Dis-Chem Pharmacies is offering opportunities for Dispensary Support Learners to join their team. This learnership is specifically designed to develop individuals capable of successfully completing the learner basic pharmacist assistant course.
During the learnership, candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of the core principles within the pharmaceutical environment and dispensing practices, with a strong emphasis on practical, on-the-job learning. Learners will be employed in a Fixed Term position as Dispensary Support until they are registered as learner basic assistants with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). Permanent employment may be offered upon successful qualification as a basic pharmacist assistant.
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete the learner basic pharmacist assistant course.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in on-the-job training within the pharmaceutical environment.
- Perform duties as Dispensary Support in a fixed-term employment role.
- Develop an understanding of dispensing procedures and pharmaceutical principles.
