What a placement gets you

  • Top of the results page. Your programme sits above the listing feed on the homepage and on the main jobs page — the two highest-traffic pages on the site.
  • A fixed run, not an open tab. Placements run between the dates you book and stop on their own. Nothing keeps running because someone forgot to switch it off.
  • Reporting on what it did. We report how many times the placement was shown and how many people clicked through to your listing.
  • The listing stays free. Being listed on SetaJobs costs nothing and always will. A placement buys position, not entry — and never changes how a listing is written or fact-checked.

How we label and measure it

Every paid placement is marked Sponsored. Our fact-checking policy commits us to that, and we are not willing to blur it — readers here are the group most targeted by recruitment scams, and the site is only useful to you if they trust it.

On measurement, so there are no surprises later: an impression is a page render that included your placement, which means some of the count is search-engine crawlers rather than people. A click is a real visit to your listing, counted through a redirect and with browser prefetches excluded. We quote both figures as they are, and we would rather tell you the impression number is soft than have you find out yourself.
