Opportunity Overview

The Clicks Group invites unemployed young South Africans to apply for its Youth Employment Programme for 2026/2027. This programme provides a valuable opportunity to learn and gain experience within the dynamic health and beauty retail sector. Located in Pretoria, this initiative is designed to equip participants with essential skills for the workplace.

Participants will engage in a structured programme that combines classroom-based learning with practical, on-the-job training within a Clicks retail store environment. Upon successful completion of the programme, individuals will be awarded an NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator occupational qualification, enhancing their employability and career prospects.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Age between 18 and 29 years old.
• Must have successfully passed Grade 12 / Matric.
• Must currently be unemployed.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Be willing and eager to learn new skills.
• Must not be currently registered on any Learnership or Skills Programme.

Key Responsibilities

Participants in the Youth Employment Programme will be expected to:

• Participate fully in classroom learning sessions.
• Undergo practical on-the-job training within a retail store.
• Gain valuable work experience in the health and beauty retail sector.
• Develop skills related to the NQF 2 Checkout Operator occupational qualification.
