BDO is offering exciting 12-month fixed-term internship opportunities based in Johannesburg. This Internship Programme is designed to give young South Africans maximum exposure to real work situations and challenges, while helping them understand BDO's culture and what a career in their chosen field entails.
The programme aims to help participants learn more about the world of work and to grow their professional skills. BDO is looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and career-focused individuals eager to gain invaluable workplace experience.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be enthusiastic, motivated, and career-focused young South Africans eager to gain workplace experience and grow their professional skills. Specific requirements for each internship opportunity are as follows:
- YES Intern - P&C COE Graduate Recruitment: Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or Business Administration.
- YES Intern - Strategy & Sustainability: Degree in Project Management, BSc, or BCom.
- YES Intern - Risk Advisory Services (Internal Audit): Must have any of the following: BCom - Internal Audit, BTech Internal Audit, or Advanced Diploma Internal Audit.
- YES Intern - Digitech (IT/ITC Security): Must have any or a combination of the following: Security+, Network+, ITIL Foundation, Fortinet Certified Fundamentals (FCF), Microsoft Security Fundamentals (SC-900), or CompTIA Security+.
- YES Intern - Tax Graduate: Completed Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- YES Intern - Employee Benefits:
- Completed relevant Diploma or Degree.
- Maximum 6 months working experience in Employee Benefits or a related field (this may include experience with data capturing, information gathering, reporting, coordination activities, and supporting business operations).
- YES Intern - Financial Services Advisory: Degrees, Diplomas, or Certificates in the following areas: Information systems, Computer Sciences, Internal Audit, Business Administration, or Compliance/Regulations-related fields.
- YES Intern - Digital Transformation: Degree or Diploma in a Data-related qualification. Advantageous: Data analysis background, Development experience, Project management skills.
- YES Intern - Wealth: Completed Diploma or Degree in Investments or Financial Planning.
- YES Intern - Financial Planning: Completed Diploma or Degree in Investments or Financial Planning.
- YES Intern - Wealth, Fiduciary Services: Completed Diploma or Degree in LLB, BCom Law, Financial Planning, Accounting, Taxation, Estate and Trust Administration, Commerce, Business Management, or a related field.
- YES Intern - Applications:
- Must have any of the following: ICT Certification, Diploma, or Degree.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Information Management, or a related field.
- Must have an interest in ERP systems, CRM platforms, Data Analytics, Software Development, Digital Transformation, or IT Governance.
- YES Intern - P&C: Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or Business Administration.
- YES Intern - Enterprise Enablement Business Analyst & QA Testing:
- Must have any of the following: Degree in Project Administration, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or a related discipline.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Information Management, or a related field.
- Must have an interest in ERP systems, CRM platforms, Data Analytics, Software Development, Digital Transformation, or IT Governance.
- Required Skills and Competencies: Analytical thinking and problem-solving, process mapping and documentation, requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, attention to detail, test case creation and execution, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and a basic understanding of project delivery methodologies.
- YES Intern - Business Development: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Project Administration, Business Analysis, or Process Improvement, or a related discipline.
- YES Intern - IT / Infrastructure: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Information Management, or a related field. Must have an interest in E.
