Opportunity Overview
The Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB) is offering a Junior Assessor vacancy based in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. This is an opportunity to join an organisation focused on the export of perishable products from South Africa.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A National certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
- Experience:
- Relevant experience within the perishable-export logistical chain.
- Experience in PPECB cold chain disciplines.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Familiarity with the perishable-export industry.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Product and technical knowledge.
- Systems and process knowledge.
- Knowledge of risk management.
- Other:
- Must be able to travel locally and nationally as required by the job.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.
- Must be in good health.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Assessor will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Ensuring service delivery to clients in line with the organisation's regulatory mandate.
- Guaranteeing compliance with the Business Management System (BMS), ISO 9001, and all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Working to ensure the completeness of income.
- Upholding compliance with Human Capital policies and procedures.
- Contributing to effective Risk Management strategies.
