Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A National certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
• Experience:
• Relevant experience within the perishable-export logistical chain.
• Experience in PPECB cold chain disciplines.
• Knowledge:
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• Familiarity with the perishable-export industry.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Product and technical knowledge.
• Systems and process knowledge.
• Knowledge of risk management.
• Other:
• Must be able to travel locally and nationally as required by the job.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.
• Must be in good health.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Assessor will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

• Ensuring service delivery to clients in line with the organisation's regulatory mandate.
• Guaranteeing compliance with the Business Management System (BMS), ISO 9001, and all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Working to ensure the completeness of income.
• Upholding compliance with Human Capital policies and procedures.
• Contributing to effective Risk Management strategies.
