2. Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this impactful role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: An Undergraduate Qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognised by SAQA, specifically in Human Resource Management.
- Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of functional experience at a Senior Practitioner Level within a Human Resource Management environment. This experience must cover areas such as Recruitment & Selection, Conditions of Service, Performance Management, and HR Development (HRD). Of this experience, at least two (2) years must have been at a supervisory level.
- Essential Knowledge Includes:
- Human Resource Management Methodology, Principles, and Strategies.
- Digital Acumen and familiarity with relevant HRM systems (e.g., Learning Systems, Performance Systems).
- Understanding of Department of Employment and Labour (DEL) and Compensation Fund business strategies and goals.
- Knowledge of COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act).
- DPSA Directives, Customer Service principles (Batho Pele Principles), Technical HR knowledge.
- Budgeting and Financial Management.
- Relevant legislation: Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework, Promotion of Access to Information Act, Promotion of Administrative Justice Act (PAJA), Minimum Information Security Standard (MISS), and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

3. Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director: Human Resources Management, your duties will involve a range of critical HR functions, including:
- Coordinating recruitment and selection processes specifically for COID Services within the Limpopo Province.
- Managing condition of service processes for COID Services in the Province.
- Coordinating and maintaining the PERSAL establishment for COID Services in the Province.
- Managing all HR Records for COID Services in the Province.
- Coordinating HR audits and reconciliation processes for COID Services in the Province.
- Coordinating and implementing workplace skills plans, developmental programs, and Performance Management and Development (PMD) systems for COID Services in the Province.
- Managing all resources within the Provincial HR section dedicated to COID Services.
