Minimum Requirements

- Have a clear criminal record.
- Be willing to work retail hours, which may include weekends and public holidays.
- Must not have previously completed an unemployed learnership.
Key Responsibilities
Learners will be expected to:
- Attend all theoretical training sessions as facilitated by the training provider.
- Complete assessments, assignments, and develop a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) in line with W&RSETA requirements.
- Perform workplace duties related to retail operations, including assisting customers and delivering basic customer service.
- Manage stock by merchandising and replenishing items.
- Support point-of-sale (POS) operations where applicable.
- Maintain store cleanliness and overall housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, standard operating practices, and health and safety requirements in the workplace.
- Maintain accurate logbook entries to track workplace experience.
- Demonstrate professional behaviour, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
- Engage with supervisors, mentors, and facilitators to support their learning and development progress.
