Opportunity Overview

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is actively seeking a skilled Change Management Specialist to join their dedicated team in Centurion. This important role focuses on the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies, frameworks, and tools.

The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring that employees readily adopt and effectively utilise necessary organisational changes. This involves anticipating and minimising any potential resistance, ultimately contributing to SACAA's overall organisational effectiveness and successful achievement of its goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education:
  • A Degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
  • Added Advantage: A Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology, a Certification in Project Management, or a Certified Change Management Qualification (e.g., Prosci).
  • Experience:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience specifically in Organisational Change Management.
  • 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Added Advantage: 5 years of experience in Human Resources Management OR 5 years of experience in Organisational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Frameworks, or Performance & Development Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Change Management strategy that aligns with Human Capital and overall organisational strategies.
  • Create tailored change management plans and methodologies to meet Human Capital and organisational objectives.
  • Manage and lead the review and implementation of Organisational Change Management projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct organisational readiness assessments to identify challenges and opportunities for change initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor all change management training and development interventions.
  • Research and benchmark Human Capital processes to ensure the organisation remains current with best practices in change management.
  • Develop and deliver training plans designed to prepare employees for new processes and systems.
  • Provide guidance to executives and managers on effective change management principles and decision-making.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including team members and executives, to foster alignment and support.
  • Build, coach, mentor, and develop a team of change ambassadors.
  • Manage and oversee change management projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and manage the change management budget in line with annual Human Capital deliverables and organisational strategy.
