Opportunity Overview

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is committed to providing timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents, ensuring financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals. Through this mission, RAF is dedicated to youth skills development by offering unemployed graduates an opportunity to gain valuable work-based experience.

This Quality Assurance Internship is open to unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 23. The program will run for a period of twelve (12) months, providing a structured learning environment to develop practical skills.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Certified Grade 12/Matric certificate.
• B Degree/Diploma in Law or a related qualification, Business Administration/Management.
• A Diploma or certificate in Quality Management will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must be unemployed.
• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 23.
• Applicants must not have been previously employed in the field of this internship.
• Applicants must not have previously participated in an internship programme in the relevant field of this internship.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will be involved in:

• General Office Administration tasks.
• Managing documents and records.
• Administering queries and complaints.
• Reviewing claims for compliance against the RAF Act and internal guidelines.
• Creating and maintaining various spreadsheets.
• Developing templates and checklists.
• Identifying and reporting on quality issues.
• Reviewing trends for relevance and accuracy.
• Following up on action plans.
• Preparing monthly reports.
• Liaising with different stakeholders.
• Rendering administration support services.
• Maintaining appropriate record keeping.
