2. Minimum Requirements

- Education: An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Management, or Employee Relations at NQF Level 6, as recognised by SAQA.
- Experience:
- A minimum of four (4) years' experience in the field.
- Two (2) years of this experience must be functional experience within a Human Resource Management and Employee Relations environment.
- The remaining two (2) years must be at a Senior Practitioner level.
- Knowledge:

- White Paper on Transformation of the Public Service.
- Human Resource Systems and Procedures.
- Public Service Act and Resolutions.
- Recruitment and Selection processes.
- Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Batho Pele Principles.

- PERSAL and other HR Information Management Systems.
- Skills:

3. Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director: Human Resource Management & Employee Relations, you will be responsible for a range of critical functions, including:
- Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of Human Resource Management policies across the Mpumalanga province.
- Monitoring and providing expert advice on the implementation of Employee Relations policies and prescripts.
- Coordinating and managing the implementation of Employment Equity programmes within the Department.
- Monitoring the administration of service benefits for employees.
- Managing resources (Human, Financial, Equipment/Assets) effectively within the Sub-directorate.
