Minimum Requirements

- Journalism experience will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the City of Ekurhuleni's social media strategy by generating and maintaining the presence of the City's brand on social media sites and developing brand awareness.
- Serve as an on-camera representative of the City by creating and presenting digital content for social media platforms.
- Plan, manage, and implement competitions and interactivity via social media.
- Utilise in-depth knowledge of the social media landscape and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate on social media strategy to increase audience whilst maintaining quality.
- Ensure that work adheres to policies and strategies of the Department in relation to social media.
