SANRAL Scholarship Programme Vacancy 2026 at South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL)

Opportunity Overview

The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is responsible for building and maintaining national roads across the country. SANRAL offers a scholarship programme designed to provide financial support to young learners who want to develop their skills and succeed academically.

This scholarship is available to South African learners at registered South African schools, covering Grade 08 to Grade 12, regardless of their subject choices. Learners with disabilities are encouraged to apply. SANRAL does not charge any fee for its scholarship application process.

The SANRAL scholarship covers the following:

• School fees and boarding school fees (where applicable)
• School and sports uniforms (where applicable)
• Books and stationery (where applicable)
• Reputable school Transport (where applicable)
• Extra lessons (Mathematics and Science only)
• Registration (where applicable)
• Access to the Wellness Programme

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for a SANRAL Scholarship, applicants must meet these criteria:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Be registered at an endorsed South African school.
• Be applying for grades 8 to 12.
• Achieve a minimum overall academic average of 60%.
• Have a total household income of less than R550,000 per year.

How to Apply

Applications for the SANRAL Scholarship Programme open on 1 July 2026 and close on 30 September 2026.

• Complete the online application in full.
• Upload all necessary supporting documents as required.
• Submit your application through the official portal.

Please note that the system allows only one application per applicant. Ensure all required supporting documents are uploaded before submission, as no changes can be made after an application has been submitted.
