Sanlam Group is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated and unemployed young South Africans to gain valuable hands-on work experience through a 12-month programme. These internships provide exposure to the financial services industry.
Participants will receive training, mentorship, and practical exposure to various professional environments, helping them develop essential skills and build a strong foundation for their careers within a leading organisation.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be unemployed young individuals who meet the specific qualification requirements for each role:
- Vendor Management Admin Intern: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Commerce, Procurement and Supply Chain, Logistics, or Financial studies.
- Data Analyst Intern: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Data Governance & Data Quality Analyst Intern: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, Software Development, Data Science, Data Analytics, or Information Technology.
- Service Management Intern: Degree or Diploma in Information Technology.
- SharePoint Services Intern: A 3-year Degree or Diploma in Information Technology.
- Graduate Intern: Recruitment Support: A business-related National Diploma or Degree, such as Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Graduate Intern: Graphic Design & Comms: A completed three-year Graphic Design or Digital Marketing diploma or degree.
- Graduate Intern: Data Science: A related qualification in Data Science, with a preference for mathematics and statistics background.
Key Responsibilities
Participants in these internships will gain practical experience in their chosen field, contribute to daily operations, and receive mentorship. For example, the Vendor Management Admin Intern will work as part of the SanlamConnect Intermediaries administrative team, gaining exposure to office administration.
