Clicks Group is inviting applications for Shop Assistant / Cashier positions. This role is central to providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions at the point of sale, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing.

Successful candidates will contribute to a positive shopping experience for every customer through friendly assistance and efficient operational support, playing a key part in the store's daily functioning.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12

Key Responsibilities

Execute all operational activities at the point of sale efficiently and in a timely manner.
Maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payments, including actioning ClubCard rewards.
Ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
Proactively promote the Clicks ClubCard and enrol new members to achieve participation targets.
Inform customers about promotions to positively impact sales.
Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and offering a friendly and professional service.
Execute and maintain merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.
Support the Group’s vision by living and driving company values.
Maintain updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
