Opportunity Overview

The Clicks Group invites recent graduates to apply for their 12-month Graduate Internship Programme for 2026 / 2027. This programme offers an opportunity to gain valuable work experience within the Operations and Admin departments of United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD).

Successful candidates will be placed in offices across Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, providing exposure to various aspects of the business within a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must hold a completed National Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields, as applicable to the specific programme stream:

• For Lea Glen & Rand Leases (National Diploma or Degree):
• Warehouse Management
• BCom in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Logistics, BBA in Logistics, BCom in Operations Management
• Finance: Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), BCom Financial Management, Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce (Economics)
• Logistics and Supply Chain: BCom Logistics and Supply Chain Management, BCom Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Logistics, BBA Logistics
• Human Resources (Diploma in Human Resource Management)
• Training/Learning & Development (Diploma in Human Resource Management)
• Finance (Diploma): Diploma in Financial Management, Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting, Diploma in Internal Auditing, Diploma in Banking
• Infrastructure (Diploma): Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Construction Management, Diploma in Building, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Infrastructure Management
• Key Account Management (Diploma): Diploma in Marketing Management, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Sales Management, Diploma in Retail Business Management

• For Mahogany Ridge (Completed Diploma):
• Operations and or Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Procurement and Supply, Business Management, Retail Business Management, Warehouse Management, Inventory and Stores Management, Production Management, Industrial Engineering (or Engineering Operations)

• For Montague Gardens (Completed Diploma):
• Operations and or Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Procurement and Supply, Business Management, Retail Business Management, Warehouse Management, Inventory and Stores Management, Production Management, Industrial Engineering (or Engineering Operations)
• Health and Safety (Diploma in Health and Safety Management, Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Diploma in Safety Management)
• Finance (Diploma): Diploma in Financial Management, Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting, Diploma in Internal Auditing, Diploma in Banking

Key Responsibilities

Participants in the programme will be responsible for:

• Gaining practical work experience within the Operations and Admin departments of United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD).
• Contributing to daily tasks and projects as guided by mentors and team leaders.
