Opportunity Overview

Transnet Property, an Operating Division within Transnet, is seeking a Regional Manager for Key Accounts. This role is crucial for providing essential property services to other Transnet operating divisions, acting as a centre of excellence in property management. The successful candidate will facilitate interfaces between various Transnet entities and support service departments like Facilities Management and Finance.

This position involves combining expertise in real estate, leasing, operations, and finance to enhance the performance of Transnet Property’s internal key accounts and clients. The focus is on building strong, lasting relationships with major customers within Transnet to maintain existing revenue streams and identify opportunities for growth. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of delivering excellent service and managing multiple client accounts effectively.

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant Degree or Advanced Diploma qualification (NQF 7).
• A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience within a large enterprise.
• At least 2 years of this experience must be at a managerial or specialist level.
• Participation in the Transnet leadership development program is considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and internal Transnet teams.
• Cultivate sustainable relationships with key customers to maximise revenue generation for Transnet Property.
• Ensure the efficient resolution of customer complaints, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
• Develop a thorough understanding of key customers’ needs and requirements to deliver customised solutions.
• Proactively anticipate the evolving and expanding needs of customers.
• Conduct annual negotiations of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to incorporate new requirements and ensure deadlines are met.
• Compile necessary reports for both the customer and internal Transnet Property use, for effective account performance measurement.
• Ensure customers are accurately billed for services provided, in line with established SLAs.
