Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma in Marketing
• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Similar work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Skills in Advertising and Marketing
• Fluent in English

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain SPAR's corporate brand image across all media platforms.
• Assist in developing advertising strategies and plans with the Promotions & Advertising Manager.
• Create and manage advertising budgets, including maintaining reports.
• Ensure all data and reports are accurately created and captured for business feedback.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to execute regional and national advertising strategies across multiple platforms.
• Manage and coordinate all advertising creative internally and with selected agencies.
• Oversee the Advertising Team to ensure timely, accurate, and professional execution of advertising.
• Adhere to and manage all Advertising and Promotions critical paths.
• Control administration and coordination within the advertising function, including processing invoices.
• Perform any other ad hoc functions as required.
• Manage the activities of the Sponsorship Controller.

• Prepare and submit various weekly, quarterly, monthly, and annual Marketing reports.
• Coordinate certain department meetings, including venue booking and catering.
• Coordinate Marketing communication to retailers and suppliers.
• Assist at various Marketing-related Build it events, such as Trade Shows, Golf Days, Public Events, and Roadshows.
