The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Provincial Treasury is offering a key leadership opportunity for a Director in Provincial Infrastructure Management. This senior role is based in Pietermaritzburg and plays a vital part in provincial development initiatives.

The successful candidate will receive an attractive all-inclusive annual salary package of R1,317,384.

Minimum Requirements

• A 3-year NQF Level 7 Qualification in Architecture, Town and Regional Planning, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Project Management within the built environment.
• Training in cost-benefit analysis model building.
• Professional registration with a relevant Built Environment council.
• At least 5 years of middle or senior managerial experience in a relevant infrastructure environment.
• Possession of an SMS Pre-entry Certificate prior to appointment.
• A valid driver’s licence is required. The Department will assist people with disabilities who do not hold a valid driver's licence to meet work-related travel obligations.
• Applicants with foreign qualifications will need to have them verified with SAQA if provisionally shortlisted.
• Non-South African citizens or permanent residency holders will be required to submit proof of citizenship if provisionally shortlisted.
