Minimum Requirements

• At least a relevant recognized three-year qualification (REQV13).
• Qualification in Education & Training.
• Qualified to lecture subjects in the relevant programmes.
• Experience in Blended learning, i.e., innovative teaching practices with the use of educational technology.
• Valid SACE registration.
• Proven Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Good administrative skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• A valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

• Lecture Computerised Financial systems N4-N5.
• Lecture Cost management accounting N5.
• Lecture Financial accounting N4-N5.
• Facilitate Occupational Certificate driven Programmes.
• Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the programmes.

Boland TVET College in Stellenbosch is seeking a dedicated Facilitator for the Occupational Certificate: ECD Practitioner programme. This role involves guiding students through the knowledge and practical components of Early Childhood Development training.

Minimum Requirements

• At least a minimum NQF level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD), Educare, Occupational Therapy, or Remedial Teaching.
• Knowledge of the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Sector.
• Teaching or facilitation experience relevant to Early Childhood Development (ECD) or Foundation Phase.
• Valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Knowledge and Practical Modules of the QCTO Occupational Certificate ECD Practitioner.
• Integrate National Curriculum Framework principles into training delivery.
• Provide support to students in Knowledge and Practical aspects of the qualification.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain student portfolios.
• Conduct Summative Knowledge Assessments.
• Conduct practical Assessments.
• Conduct an introductory meeting at each workplace.
• Conduct all aspects of assessment (e.g., marking and evaluations).
• Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the programmes.
