2. Minimum Requirements

• Education: A three (3) year relevant qualification in Labour Relations, BCom Law, or an LLB degree.
• Licence: A valid driver’s licence.
• Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of:

• Unemployment Insurance Act

3. Key Responsibilities

As a BCEA Inspector, your daily duties will involve a variety of critical tasks aimed at ensuring labour law compliance:

• Conducting occupational inspections to verify adherence to all labour legislations.
• Investigating reported cases of labour legislation contravention and taking necessary enforcement actions.
• Performing proactive (Blitz) inspections on a regular basis to monitor compliance with labour legislation.
• Leading advocacy campaigns focused on specific and allocated labour legislations to educate and inform.
• Assisting in the drafting of inspection plans, compiling comprehensive reports, and gathering statistics on assigned cases.
