Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this learnership opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have a Grade 12 certificate, or a relevant Transport & Logistics/Business qualification.
- Your Matric certificate must show English with a minimum achievement of 65%.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between 18 and 30 years of age.
- Must not be currently employed or studying.
- Computer knowledge (MS Office) will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
As a learner in this programme, under direct supervision, you will be expected to:
- Support the delivery of import/export processes and activities to optimise service and performance.
- Perform assigned tasks of a generally repetitive nature for documentation, including receiving, reconciling, consolidating, and summarizing documents and information.
- Support and maintain operational systems as per instructions.
- Execute back-office duties such as scanning, filing, and reporting.
- Follow defined processes, systems, and methods for the delivery of assigned tasks.
- Support and interact primarily with colleagues within your own team.
- Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
- Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.
