Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this learnership opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a Grade 12 certificate, or a relevant Transport & Logistics/Business qualification.
  • Your Matric certificate must show English with a minimum achievement of 65%.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must be between 18 and 30 years of age.
  • Must not be currently employed or studying.
  • Computer knowledge (MS Office) will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As a learner in this programme, under direct supervision, you will be expected to:

  • Support the delivery of import/export processes and activities to optimise service and performance.
  • Perform assigned tasks of a generally repetitive nature for documentation, including receiving, reconciling, consolidating, and summarizing documents and information.
  • Support and maintain operational systems as per instructions.
  • Execute back-office duties such as scanning, filing, and reporting.
  • Follow defined processes, systems, and methods for the delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues within your own team.
  • Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
  • Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.
