Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Computer literacy
• A valid EB driver's licence
• Ability to read, write and communicate
• 1 year supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities

• Execute supervisory functions within the centre and surroundings
• Supervise General Workers
• Execute Human Resource Administration functions
• Supervise use of facilities by hirers in line with agreements
• Handle all enquiries regarding bookings
• Order and control cleaning materials and equipment as per laid down procedures
• Do minor repairs to buildings and playing surfaces as required
• Ensure staff adhere to safety requirements as prescribed by the Occupational Health and Safety Act

What the Work Involves

As a Caretaker, you will be on the ground, overseeing the daily operations of Recreation Centres and Libraries. Your typical day could involve supervising general workers to ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained, handling enquiries from the public, and managing bookings for various activities.
