Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Degree (NQF 7)
  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
  • Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
  • Clear criminal record
  • Completed degree (any field; admin/research aptitude)
  • Strong writing and organisation skills

  • Supporting research grant and contract administration
  • Assisting with ethics submissions and record-keeping
  • Capturing and reporting research output data
  • Coordinating meetings and researcher communications
  • Completing a structured internship development plan

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R7 000 – R9 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 7 qualification on successful completion.
