Opportunity Overview

The GSA Food & Beverage position is integral to the hotel's operations, focusing on flexible service delivery across various guest-facing and operational functions. You will support the overall guest experience by upholding service standards, cleanliness, and hospitality within the food and beverage department and public spaces.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Minimum Grade 12 qualification is required.
• Computer Literacy: Essential, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience: Prior experience is not essential, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
• Financial Handling: This position involves handling money and authorising company funds, and is therefore subject to a fraud and credit check.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide flexible and high-quality service across multiple guest-facing functions, including bar service, table service, and maintaining public area cleanliness.
• Support the overall guest experience by maintaining service standards, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Accurately record inventory and adhere to established audit and stock control procedures.
• Deliver consistent service excellence and maintain operational standards across all assigned areas.
• Perform multi-functional duties such as preparing and serving beverages, providing efficient table service, and ensuring the cleanliness of public areas.
• Implement, maintain, and enhance the brand and group standards.
• Interact with all internal and external customers in an efficient, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Collaborate with management to achieve shared operational objectives for the hotel.
• Participate in all legislative and operational training as required.
