Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and responding to their needs.
  • Apply selling skills by advising customers on product options, promotions, and alternatives.
  • Manage stock efficiently through rotation, maintaining cold chain and hygiene standards, and accurate shelf replenishment.
  • Identify and address quality concerns promptly, including isolating damaged goods and managing returns.
  • Adhere strictly to shop-keeping disciplines such as gap policies, planograms, and maintaining a clean department.
  • Minimise shrinkage by reporting dishonest acts, managing stock losses, and following security protocols.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge to assist customers and promote new lines and ongoing promotions.
  • Exhibit personal leadership through punctuality, adherence to dress code and hygiene standards, and active team participation.

What the Work Involves

As a Customer Assistant, you will be on the front lines, greeting customers, understanding their needs, and advising them on product options and promotions.
