Opportunity Overview

The Western Cape Department of Agriculture is inviting applications for a Scientist (Production Level) role in Nutrition and Product Quality. Minimum Requirements

• An appropriate 4-year Degree: BSc (Hons) or BSc (Agric) in Animal Science.
• Compulsory registration with SACNASP (South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions) as a Professional Natural Scientist in Animal Science.
• Three years of post-qualification experience in animal nutrition research.
• A valid driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement farm animal research methodologies, systems, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform farm animal research data analysis and compliance functions.
• Conduct research and development activities.
• Engage in human capital development initiatives.
