Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Grade 10
  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
  • Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
  • Clear criminal record
  • Minimum Grade 10
  • Physically fit; comfortable working at heights

Key Responsibilities

During this learnership you will:

  • Learning bricklaying, plastering and basic concrete work
  • Reading simple building plans and setting out
  • Mixing mortar and maintaining tools and materials
  • Applying construction health-and-safety standards
  • Completing NQF 3 bricklaying assessments

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R4 000 – R5 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 3 qualification on successful completion.
