Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
  • Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
  • Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

During this learnership you will:

  • Supporting maintenance of robotic and conveyor assembly systems
  • Learning pneumatics, hydraulics and basic PLC operation
  • Assisting with preventive maintenance schedules
  • Recording downtime and maintenance data
  • Completing NQF 4 mechatronics assessments

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R5 500 – R6 500 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 qualification on successful completion.
