Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
  • Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 with Mathematics (60%+)
  • Strong logical reasoning; portfolio advantageous

Key Responsibilities

During this learnership you will:

  • Learning programming fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Building small applications under developer mentorship
  • Participating in agile ceremonies and code reviews
  • Writing and running basic tests
  • Completing NQF 5 systems development assessments

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R7 000 – R9 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 5 qualification on successful completion.
