Opportunity Overview
The Foschini Group is offering a YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme designed for unemployed South African youth. This initiative provides an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience within the retail industry.
The YES Programme is a collaborative effort between businesses and government. Its core aim is to help reduce youth unemployment by equipping young people with new skills and meaningful work exposure, which can significantly improve their prospects for securing long-term employment.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged between 18 to 28 years old.
- Have a Grade 12 / Matric qualification (preferable).
- Be available and willing to commit to a fixed-term 12-month contract.
- Not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than one year.
- Not be studying full-time during the year of employment (April 2026 – March 2027).
- Not have participated in or been registered on the YES programme previously.
