Opportunity Overview
South African National Parks (SANParks) invites applications from eligible graduates for a 24-month internship programme. This opportunity is designed for individuals who have completed a National Diploma or Degree in specific fields and wish to gain practical experience within a national conservation body.
Interns will be placed at SANParks' Head Office in Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria. This programme offers a valuable chance to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting, with a monthly stipend provided for the duration of the internship. It is important to note that SANParks is under no obligation to offer permanent employment upon the completion of the 24-month programme.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be an unemployed South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Must have completed a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) from a South African Higher Education Institution.
- The qualification must be in one of the following fields:
- Law
- Corporate Governance
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Applicants must not have been previously employed or participated in any prior internship or placement programme.
