Opportunity Overview

The Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA) is offering 15 Call Centre Agent positions as part of a three-year fixed-term contract. These Level 5 roles provide an opportunity to join a government agency committed to road traffic management.

This opportunity is designed for individuals who possess strong administrative and communication skills. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in providing essential AARTO-related call centre services, assisting the public with queries and application statuses. Minimum Requirements

  • Matric Certificate (NQF4)
  • Administration experience in the support services environment
  • Experience in data capturing
  • Experience in general office support services
  • Experience as a Call Centre Agent
  • Computer Literacy
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the AARTO Act will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive telephone calls, emails, and fax queries, escalating matters to relevant sections within the Agency.
  • Advise callers on the status of representation, instalment, and revocation of enforcement orders applications.
  • Provide callers with information regarding AARTO processes and prescribed documents.
  • Provide callers with the status of election to be tried in court or nomination of a driver requests.
  • Handle special arrangements regarding AARTO elective options.
  • Print all incoming faxes received through the AARTO fax to email facility.
  • Acknowledge all applications for instalments, representations, and revocations of enforcement orders on the National Contraventions Register (NCR) as prescribed.
  • Distribute documents to the relevant sections within the RTIA.

Opportunity Overview

The Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA) is looking for an experienced Programme & Projects Manager to join its Project Management Office. This high-level position offers a three-year contract at Level 12, providing a significant opportunity to lead and implement key initiatives.

This role is for a strategic professional with a proven track record in business transformation and project management within large organisations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing complex programmes and delivering multiple IT and business projects from conception to successful completion. Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (NQF 7) in a related area such as Business, Science, or IT.
  • Project management qualification, including PMBOK or PRINCE2 practitioner (Agile is advantageous).
  • Project Management Certification, such as Project Management South Africa (PMSA), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis within complex programmes.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in change management within large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • More than 3 years’ experience in implementing Business Transformation programmes in Enterprise Level organisations.
  • Experience in delivering business value.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in managing projects and delivering multiple large-scale IT and Business projects from conception to delivery simultaneously.
  • Experience in effectively managing relationships.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, Association for Project Management Group - APMG) is an added advantage.
