Opportunity Overview

The Public Service SETA (PSETA) funds a public administration learnership placing unemployed graduates and matriculants in government departments to build administrative and governance skills.

This learnership is based in Centurion, Gauteng (Gauteng) and falls under the PSETA — Public Service, leading to a NQF Level 5 qualification. A monthly stipend is provided: R5 500 – R6 500 / month.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
• South African citizen with a valid ID
• Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
• Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
• Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

During this learnership you will:

• Supporting office administration and records management
• Assisting with correspondence and meeting coordination
• Capturing and maintaining departmental data
• Learning public-sector procurement and compliance basics
• Completing NQF 5 public administration assessments

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R5 500 – R6 500 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 5 qualification on successful completion.
