Opportunity Overview

The North West Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation, and Tourism is seeking a qualified individual for the Chief Director: Economic Planning position. This senior management role is based in Mahikeng.

Minimum Requirements

  • An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business Economics / Economic Planning or an equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA.
  • Extensive experience in the field of economic development, export, and investment promotion.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the economic development sector.
  • A postgraduate qualification in the Economics field of study will be an added advantage.
  • Successful completion of the Nyukela Public Service (SMS Pre Entry Certificate) is required prior to the finalisation of an appointment.
