Nedbank, in partnership with INSETA, offers a learnership for KwaZulu-Natal youth interested in short-term and life insurance, leading to an FSCA-recognised NQF 4 qualification.

This learnership is based in Durban Central, KwaZulu-Natal (KwaZulu-Natal) and falls under the INSETA — Insurance, leading to a NQF Level 4 qualification. A monthly stipend is provided: R5 500 – R6 000 / month.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
• South African citizen with a valid ID
• Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
• Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
• Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

During this learnership you will:

• Studying insurance products, regulation (FAIS) and ethical selling
• Supporting client needs analysis and quotation processes
• Capturing policy applications and supporting documents
• Assisting with claims intake and client communication
• Building toward Regulatory Exam (RE5) readiness

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R5 500 – R6 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 qualification on successful completion.
