Opportunity Overview
The National Gambling Board (NGB), established by the National Gambling Act, 2004, is a Schedule 3A Public Entity tasked with coordinating national and provincial legislative competence over gambling activities in South Africa.
The NGB is offering an exciting Graphic Design Internship position in Pretoria. This opportunity is designed for unemployed graduates seeking their first workplace exposure in the field of graphic design.
This is a 12-month non-renewable contract position, offering a monthly stipend of R12,000. Only one position is available within the Strategy and Organisation Performance Department.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a three (3) year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Communication Design, or Multimedia Design.
- Be an unemployed graduate.
- Have not previously participated in any internship programme, either in the private or public sector, as this programme aims to provide first-time workplace exposure.
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates and those living with disabilities.
- Candidates with foreign qualifications must ensure they are verified by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and submit proof of verification with their application.
