Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
  • Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 with Life Sciences
  • Caring disposition; clear health and criminal record

Key Responsibilities

During this learnership you will:

  • Providing basic patient care under registered-nurse supervision
  • Assisting with patient hygiene, mobility and comfort
  • Recording vital signs and basic observations
  • Supporting infection-prevention and ward routines
  • Completing SANC/HWSETA learnership assessments

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R5 000 – R6 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 qualification on successful completion.
