Opportunity Overview
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Human Settlements is inviting applications for the Chief Director: Human Settlements Planning and Stakeholder Facilitation position based in Durban. This is a senior management role at Level 14, offering an all-inclusive annual salary of R1,554,696.
This executive opportunity is for a seasoned professional to contribute to the strategic planning and stakeholder engagement within the human settlements sector in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will play a critical role in guiding planning initiatives and fostering collaborations.
Minimum Requirements
- Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree at NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience at senior management or executive level in a planning and development environment or a construction/building environment.
- Ability to interact at all levels, including Executive, Strategic, and Operational levels.
- Minimum entry requirement certificate to SMS (Nyukela) submitted prior to appointment.
- A valid driver’s licence.
