Opportunity Overview

The Kwazulu Natal Department Of Community Safety And Liaison is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Director for the Ethekwini Region. This is a senior management position based in Durban, requiring a leader in the criminal justice environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A Degree (NQF level 7 or higher) in Social Science, Police Science, Criminology, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years’ middle or senior management experience specifically within a Criminal Justice environment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license Code B.
• Preparedness to work extended hours as required by the role.
• Completion of the Nyukela SMS Pre-entry certificate, to be submitted prior to appointment.
