Opportunity Overview
The Kwazulu Natal Department Of Community Safety And Liaison is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Director for the Ethekwini Region. This is a senior management position based in Durban, requiring a leader in the criminal justice environment.
This key role involves contributing to community safety and liaison efforts within the province, operating within the framework of various legislative acts and public service regulations. Minimum Requirements
- A Degree (NQF level 7 or higher) in Social Science, Police Science, Criminology, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ middle or senior management experience specifically within a Criminal Justice environment.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license Code B.
- Preparedness to work extended hours as required by the role.
- Completion of the Nyukela SMS Pre-entry certificate, to be submitted prior to appointment.
