Joburg Market is seeking a dedicated individual for the Senior Manager: Revenue & Property Management position. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic leadership and coordination for the property management unit, implementing the entity's strategy through focused work on property leasing, developmental planning, budgeting, tenant compliance management, and overseeing facilities.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Finance or Property Management.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience at Middle Management Level.
- Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in organizing resources and establishing priorities effectively.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current developments and trends within the area of expertise.
- Demonstrated total reliability.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of client and business confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all tenants possess valid and legally compliant lease agreements.
- Oversee the timely renewal and termination of lease agreements as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data and trends.
- Collect monthly rental payments in accordance with lease terms and enforce Joburg Market's credit control policy.
- Oversee the complete property function, including billing, collections, and lease negotiations.
- Manage the facility and ensure its compliance with company, municipal, and governmental policies and regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the facility to meet established food safety standards (Reg 962 of Food Stuff and Cosmetics Act, SANS 1049, HACCP).
- Provide advice and interpret policies to departments, staff, and external parties such as vendors and board members; explain billings, reports, and resolve related problems.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategic risk treatments for the property portfolio.
- Monitor compliance with lease conditions by all tenants.
- Conduct periodic inspections of properties and facilities.
- Develop budgets and ensure strict budget compliance.
- Interact with internal and external auditors, participating in occasional auditing projects or providing necessary information and access to accounting records.
