Opportunity Overview

Fidelity Services Group is inviting applications for Dispatch Clerk positions based in Midrand. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of all outgoing orders.

As a Dispatch Clerk, you will play a key role in the logistics chain, focusing on timely dispatch, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • Proficiency in Data Capturing
  • Competence in Excel / Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Basic finance acumen
  • A fast learner
  • Effective time management skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Advantageous:
  • Experience with SAP systems
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • A Post-Grad qualification

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all orders are checked, packed, and dispatched timeously.
  • Maintain effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complete daily dispatch reconciliations and maintain the dispatch register.
  • Participate in stock take processes.
  • Check all stock for quality and correct quantity prior to packing.
  • Ensure orders are captured with correct details for accurate delivery.
  • Capture waybill information on the Courier Service Provider portal.
  • Ensure all dispatched parcels have correct details and are handed over to the courier.
  • Follow up on dispatched orders and complete relevant trackers.
  • Communicate daily with courier service providers and customers regarding estimated times of arrival (ETAs).
  • Adhere to all dispatch activities policies, procedures, and company SLA agreements.
  • Ensure dispatch areas are consistently clean.
  • Track outbound shipments and communicate any delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure warehouse tracking registers are received and validated against system transactions.
  • Oversee daily stock movements to minimize discrepancies, reduce shrinkage, and maintain accurate inventory records for audits.
