Opportunity Overview

The Free State Department of Human Settlements is offering a Graduate Internship Programme for Administrators focused on Affordable Housing. This is a 24-month contract opportunity based in Bloemfontein.

The department is committed to promoting representivity across race, gender, and disability within the province. This programme offers a monthly stipend of R8,174.75.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Grade 12 certificate.
  • Have a minimum qualification at NQF Level 6 in Public Administration, Office Administration, or an equivalent field.
  • Possess basic knowledge of government prescripts and principles.
  • Be a South African citizen originating and residing in the Free State province.
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Have never participated in a Public Service Internship programme previously.
  • If in possession of foreign qualification/s, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Ensure the form is fully completed, duly signed, and initialled, and that the correct Job title and Reference number are indicated.
  • Attach a recent, comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV) only. Your CV must include contactable referees with their telephone numbers and email addresses.
