Opportunity Overview

The Free State Department of Health is inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Practitioner Grade 1-2, based in the Mangaung Metro District. Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional Qualification: A basic R425 qualification, such as a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, or an equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• Registration: Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• Post-Basic Qualification: A post-basic nursing qualification of at least one year's duration, accredited with SANC in the relevant specialty as per Government Notice No. R212.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of appropriate and recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in general nursing.

• Dual Citizenship: Holders must provide a Police Clearance certificate from their country of origin when shortlisted.

Key Responsibilities
