Opportunity Overview
The Free State Department of Health is inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Practitioner Grade 1-2, based in the Mangaung Metro District. Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional Qualification: A basic R425 qualification, such as a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, or an equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Registration: Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Post-Basic Qualification: A post-basic nursing qualification of at least one year's duration, accredited with SANC in the relevant specialty as per Government Notice No. R212.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of appropriate and recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in general nursing.

- Foreign Qualifications: Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
- Non-South African Citizens: Will be required to submit proof of South African permanent residence when shortlisted.
- Dual Citizenship: Holders must provide a Police Clearance certificate from their country of origin when shortlisted.

The Clinical Nurse Practitioner Grade 1-2 will be responsible for:
