Minimum Requirements

- Matric/Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
- National Diploma in Built Environment (NQF level 6) and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Built Environment (NQF level 7)
- A confirmation letter from your educational institution
- Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
- Must be youth from Johannesburg communities who have never participated in an internship programme before
Key Responsibilities
As an Intern for Public Housing Programme Support, you will:
- Assist in the delivery of Human Settlements in the Cores of the City and the Corridors of Freedom.
- Support specialists in determining the optimal use of land plots or buildings within a community.
- Assist with project packaging and audits as required.
- Aid in coordinating procedural requirements associated with human settlement delivery.
- Participate in project facilitation and management.
- Provide administrative support to the unit.
- Assist in project management, facilitation, data analysis, and provide input for policy and guideline changes.
- Support the interpretation and implementation of Human Settlement policies, legislation, and acts.
