Opportunity Overview

AVBOB, in partnership with INSETA, is offering a twelve-month Long Term Insurance Learnership programme for 2026/2027. This opportunity provides structured work-based learning, combining theoretical training through an accredited provider with practical experience gained in a workplace setting.

The learnership aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required in the insurance sector, leading to a registered qualification upon successful completion. Learners will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Be in possession of a valid Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Must have passed English and either Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, or Accounting in Matric.
• Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
• Have no previous learnerships attended.
• Not currently registered with another academic institution or engaged in any other studies.
• Possess a reliable mode of transportation.
• A smartphone or laptop is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills are an advantage.
• Computer skills (MS Office, Email, and Internet) are an advantage.
• The ability to work independently and show initiative is an advantage.
