Opportunity Overview
Afrirent Holdings, through its Afrirent Mobility division, is seeking five interns to join its Customer Contact Centre team in Centurion. This internship is designed for high-potential graduates and early-career professionals who are eager to develop their careers in customer service.
This programme offers a valuable chance to gain practical experience in a dynamic and supportive work environment. Interns will develop essential customer service and communication skills crucial for success in the industry.
Minimum Requirements
- A Grade 12 / Matric certificate (NQF Level 4) is essential.
- An NQF Level 5 or higher qualification in Office Administration, Customer Care, or a related field would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be involved in various aspects of customer service and communication, including:
- Customer Service and Query Resolution:
- Responding to customer queries received via telephone, email, or call centre systems according to service level agreements.
- Providing accurate information and guidance on vehicle maintenance, repair bookings, breakdown assistance, and service processes.
- Capturing and verifying customer, vehicle, and case details accurately on relevant fleet management systems.
- Creating and managing service cases, including generating reference numbers.
- Requesting outstanding documentation or information from customers, internal departments, or service providers.
- Inbound Call Management:
- Answering incoming calls in line with approved call centre standards and scripts.
- Maintaining professional telephone etiquette and service delivery.
- Capturing accurate customer and vehicle information during calls.
- Handling all calls efficiently and professionally.
- Outbound Communication and Service Coordination:
- Conducting outbound calls to follow up on customer queries, breakdown assistance, or service requests.
- Liaising with service providers regarding the progress of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Providing customers with timely updates on the status of repairs or breakdown assistance.
- Ensuring repair bookings and maintenance schedules are confirmed and communicated.
- Maintaining records of all follow-up communications.
