Shoprite invites eligible HR graduates to apply for the YES People Apprentice Programme, specifically focusing on HR Technology & People Support. This is a fixed-term Youth Employment Service (YES) programme role based in Brackenfell, Western Cape.

The programme offers administrative and operational support to the Technology / SRX People Team, providing apprentices with exposure across various aspects of the people value chain. Minimum Requirements

An HR-related Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree.
No prior work experience is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Basic ability or interest in Artificial Intelligence prompting.
Strong attention to detail and administration skills.
Basic reporting and data management skills.
Comfortable working with systems and technology.
Ability to schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication.
Ability to track candidate feedback and maintain accurate recruitment updates.
An interest in developing knowledge across various HR functions within a technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support to the Technology / SRX People Team.
Assist with HR administration tasks.

Assist with contractor onboarding and offboarding procedures.
Provide support across the employee lifecycle.
