Sasol offers full engineering bursaries to high-achieving matriculants and first-year students pursuing chemical, mechanical, electrical or mining engineering at South African universities. The bursary covers tuition, accommodation, meals, books and a laptop allowance.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric
• South African citizen with a valid ID
• Strong academic record (see specific marks below)
• Accepted into / studying toward a relevant qualification
• Clear criminal record
• Grade 12 with 70%+ in Mathematics and Physical Science (or strong first-year results)
• South African citizen accepted into an accredited engineering programme

During this bursary you will:

• Maintaining strong academic performance each semester
• Participating in Sasol vacation work programmes
• Engaging with assigned mentors and development plans
• Committing to a work-back period after graduation
• Representing Sasol values on and off campus

Funding & Benefits
