  • South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Aged 18–35 (youth programme)
  • Currently unemployed and not on another funded programme
  • Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

During this apprenticeship you will:

  • Installing and maintaining industrial electrical equipment
  • Fault-finding on motors, drives and control circuits
  • Supporting planned shutdown maintenance
  • Applying electrical safety and isolation standards
  • Completing trade theory and logbook tasks toward the Trade Test

Stipend & Benefits

Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of R5 500 – R7 000 / month for the duration of the programme, on-the-job mentorship, and a nationally recognised NQF Level 4 qualification on successful completion. On completion you will be eligible to write the relevant Trade Test to qualify as an artisan.
