Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Application Form: Submit an improved Z83 form, which became effective from 01 January 2021. The form must be completed in full, providing sufficient information about your candidature and the specific post you are applying for. All relevant fields must be filled. The declaration on the Z83 form must be signed.
• Z83 Completion Note: Part A fields must be fully and accurately completed. Parts B, C, D, E, F and G may be left blank, marked as not relevant, or use dashes/N/A if they do not apply to you or the position, provided your detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) supplies the required information. However, the question under Part F related to conditions that prevent re-appointment is compulsory for applicants seeking re-employment into the Public Service.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed CV must accompany your Z83 form. The CV should include at least three referees with their current contact details. Major subjects of your relevant qualification(s) should be clearly mentioned in your CV.
• Qualifications (Shortlisted Candidates): Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of their academic qualifications, driver's licence (if applicable to the post), and other relevant documents on or before the day of the interviews.
• Foreign Qualifications: Persons with foreign qualifications must provide an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
• Tertiary Qualifications: Positions requiring a tertiary qualification must include copies of academic record/transcript(s) with the application.
• Separate Applications: A separate application must be submitted for each post you are applying for, clearly indicating the Centre and Reference number of the specific post.
